the Camp CABOGI experience?
This will be unlike any class you have ever
taken. Having the opportunity to earn the respect and attention of a
group of kids can not be taught by a book. We will be there to
assist you along the way, but this will strengthen your natural
abilities and provide you with a whole set of new ones!
Not only with the campers, but with the fellow
staff and even parents.
Youth Development Experience:
put your skills to the test and see if you
have what it takes to be a teacher, a child-care provider or a youth
coach. Test yourselves!

Not only are you changing lives by helping these campers enjoy their
summer to the fullest, they too are changing yours. You are testing
yourself in ways you never thought about and are adapting to new
emotional, physical and mental aspects of your personality and
character. Camp will help you find out, just how much you
really know about you.
Calling all High School students, Camp CABOGI
wants YOU!! Camp CABOGI's JR Counselor program is a VOLUNTEER program
that instructs, develops and strengthens individuals in leadership
training through assisting Counselors with daily group activities,
planning and coordinating special events and leading campers through
games and other activities. ALL weekly fees and
field trip fees are waived.
Becoming a JR Counselor
at Camp CABOGI
The application process for a JR Counselor begins
with filling out the staff application (its understood that you
won't be able to fill in every detail, as your work experience is
Upon receipt of the applications, an interview will
be set-up. Each interview will last approximately 30 minutes.
Questions will test your creativity, adaptability and spontaneity.
At the end of the interview you will be given a
homework assignment to be returned before the start of camp. Based
on your availability you will be assigned a minimum of 2 weeks at

All JR Counselors, MUST be able to
work a minimum 2 full weeks of our AWESOME summer day camp, Camp CABOGI.
Space is limited to 4 JRs per
week, so register early to reserve your ideal 2 weeks. You may
register for more than 2 weeks, but that registration may be moved
to allow all Club members to attend their 2 weeks.
How does the program work?
Under the direct supervision
of the Camp Director, and assigned Counselor, JR Counselors will...
participate in weekly leadership
be given specific
responsibilities relating to the daily Camp CABOGI schedule.
Daily responsibilities are rotated throughout the week.
be assigned a field trip group
where they will assist the Counselors

August) in conjunction with Club 22 specials events; such as a summer pizza party,
movie night, or a special evening trip.
